Mr. Israil Khan is the visionary entrepreneur behind Starsun Alloys Pvt. Ltd., a name now becoming synonymous with quality in lead alloys, refined lead, grey oxide, red lead — and in recent years, power backup solutions under the Comfort Battery and Bull Power brands.
As Founder & Managing Director, he has played a critical role in building and steering the company from its early days to its current position in the metals and battery space.
Mr. Israil holds an MBA in Marketing, which equipped him with strong skills in business strategy, brand building, customer relations, and market understanding. He started his entrepreneurial journey through Sunrise Metal Industries, where he focused on lead products and built deep industry ties, earning trust from major principals and customers. Over time, these relationships have expanded, and many partners have sought Sunrise / Starsun's involvement in their projects, appreciating the hands-on, quality-driven approach Mr. Israil fosters.
Under his leadership, Starsun Alloys Pvt. Ltd. emerged as a professional and certified manufacturer of lead and its derivatives. The company operates at Sikandrabad (Bulandshahr, about 70 km from Delhi), with sister concerns Star Metal and Sunrise Metal Industries. Starsun's capabilities are significant: production of ~60 MT/day for pure and alloy lead; 20 MT/day for grey oxide; and about 6 MT/day for red lead.
The company has invested heavily in quality control — a well-equipped lab with a BRUKER spectrometer, smelting, casting, pollution control, valid CTO, air & water licenses, and adherence to ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018).
Recognizing the demand for reliable power backup and cleaner, robust batteries in India's varied climate and grid conditions, Mr. Israil launched Comfort Battery, a brand offering high-performance inverter, solar-compatible, tubular, and automotive batteries. Alongside, Bull Power is positioned as a brand that emphasizes strength, endurance, and heavy-duty “power when you need it most.”
This move ties back to Starsun's core capabilities in lead and alloy production — ensuring in-house control over material quality, which translates into better battery life, performance, and reliability under Indian conditions.
Mr. Israil emphasizes quality first, service first, continuous improvement, and innovative development — values clearly visible in how Starsun operates. He believes in long-term relationships with customers and partners, not just transactions. He has built trust with big clients like Okaya, Eastman, Genius Innovation, and Pilot Industries.
Environment and compliance are also part of his philosophy: recycling battery scrap, controlling emissions, obtaining required manufacturing licenses, and maintaining rigorous lab testing.
Under his direction, Starsun Alloys has obtained a strong capital base: as of 2025, the company has an authorized capital of approximately ₹12.60 crore and paid-up capital of approximately ₹8 crore. Incorporated officially in June 2022 as Starsun Alloys Pvt. Ltd., with directors including Mr. Israil Khan, Farman Ali, and Rizwan Ali.
